Materials are copying twice in sales order copy control

HI Experts,

I created new Sales document type "credit memo request" (copied from existing credit memo) and maintained this sales document type as mandatory with ref to F2 Billing Document Type.

Now while giving the billing number to new sales order i am facing 2 issues.

1. I am getting the error No item category available (Table T184 XXXX YLG YG2N) Message no. V1320 . even though i maintained the Item category determination. while 2nd time when i enter again i won't get the error and maintained item category will be determined.

2. when the data is copied from Invoice to sales order Materials as been copying twice from the invoice.

I checked the relevant copy control rotines but still unable to resolve ther issue, So Plese suggest how to resolve this issue.

Either item category will not flow even if you try many times or it will flow at the first try itself. So for your case I feel, you should raise a message with SAP
