Issue while importing documents from cFolder to DMS

Hi,

While importing documents from cFolder to DMS, the system will check the number range of the document type but system will not check other mandatory field for the documents types says Authorization Group.

Is this system standard behavior or please let me know if we have missed any setting.

Steps

u2022 Go to T code CFI01

u2022 Select documents from Collaborative folder

u2022 Click on set documents

u2022 Click on Set storage category

u2022 Enter document id,documents type, parts & version (Here system will check number range)

u2022 Copy documents

(here system will not check any mandatory field related to documents type e.g. authorization group in T code CV02N)

Hi,

When i try to import documnets from cFolder to DMS with templates then there is no issue but when importing documents without templates system not considering mandatory feild in DMS

Please help me on this

Hello

i got reply from SAP as per below

The settings in the 'field selection' for the document type in
customizing transaction DC10 are not taken into account by CFI01.

This is the current system behaviour and there are not plans to change that.

But this issue can be resolved if we use templates while importing documents from cFolder to DMS
