hello experts,

No two users of interactive demand planning book can access same SKU, even if they want to edit different customers. Please help how we can resolve this issue so that there is uniqueness of access at only Cust_SKU level and not at Sku level

Regards,

Thanks Ada for providing a useful solution. We are in process to implement the note no 1130258, lets see if it helps.

Hello,

The notes I suggested are just consulting notes.

Actually you can easily know what lock entry a selection profile creates, by loading the selection into planning book in change mode, and then check SM12 (or in the menu bar select goto-> lock entries). Note 1130258 is useful if you want to know how these lock entries are created.

Best Regards,

Ada

Hello,

You need to set the selection profile properly, so that the two selection won't create confilict lock in SM12.

Besides SKU, you must set CUST constraint also in the selection.

For example, you have combination:

1)SKU S1 Customer C1

2)SKU S1 Customer C2

If you only set SKU=S1 in the selection priofile, it will lock both combinations.

If you set SKU=S1 and CSUT=C1 in one selection profile, and set SKU=S1 and CSUT=C2 in another, they won't confilict each other.

To check lock entries for a selection, you can first load it in change mode, the in the goto menu, seelct lock entries. This will show you the lock entries in SM12.For lock entry's creation, please also refer to note 1130258.

Then please refer to note 397292 to see why the selection 2's lock entry cannot be created.

Please notice that even there's no same CVC in the two selection profiles, there's still possibility that the selection profiles lock each other.

Best Regards,

Ada
