SWITCH Problem - not a component of data object 'PAYLOAD'

I am getting following error in my BPM:

1) RECEIVE step

2) When I try to define a switch using a field from RECEIVE step, I am getting an error.

Can anybody suggest something..

Hi,

Refer this SAP Note- 890760 .. Also check the SXI_CACHE for the return code of the integration process. It should be zero..

Also change the BPM and check for the syntax check by F7 and then activate the bpm . Also check the is this active version is relfected in the directory ..Or do the cache refresh..

Well, you don't use a field from receive step, you use a field of the message that receive step received. =D

So, would you paste the exception trace?
