Hi Mariel,

Try switching on the authorization trace for your RFC user in transaction st01 in the backend system. Mark the "Authorization check" checkbox and make sure to set the General filter to your user only. Then execute the test again and evaluate the trace results to get to know which authorization object you are missing.

Hope this helps,

Greg

Hi Jag,

Just sending the file from host to target system. checked the rfc user's authorization via SU53 but didn't find anything.

Hi Mariel,

is it File-IDOC scenario? if Yes,Have you maintained the port in Transaction IDX1 (Port name SAP<ECC SID>) and loaded IDOC Metadata using the Transaction IDX2?

Also check Authorization of the user maintained in RFC destination from PI to Backend SAP system as per the below note.

Note 837595 - IDoc adapter metadata EDISDEF not maintained
