SAP TUTOR 2.2 with Windows 7

Is anybody out there is able to use SAP Tutor (recorder, editor, player) successfully in Windows 7 machine? I am facing one error after other. Initially it was switch error. Now when i use recorder, the file is created and when i say "stop recording", the file disappears.

With player, the following error keeps coming: "no valid header or TOC found (80040002)".

I am doubtful if ever tutor will work on windows 7.

Any help/ pointers please.

I stopped pursuing my efforts to use SAP Tutor in Windows 7 (32 bit) machine.  For others' benefit please update if anybody was successful in doing it.

Hi,

Could you please tell me which version of SAP Tutor you are using

and have you maintained the settings as per the note 1487455.

Also make sure you have installed the licensed version from service.sap.com

SAP tutor version is 6400.220.6.0. Yes, I have implemented the patches SP01, SP02, SP03.

Yes, it is licenced version downloaded from sevice.sap.com.

Please let me know if anybody is successfully running sap tutor in windows 7 so that i will confidently try to make it work for me.

Is your windows 64 bit or 32 bit? Its working on 64 bit.

Hi Venkat,

I am facing issue with SAP Tutor 2.0.13 like "Sap Tutor switch has stopped working" in client environment. I tried with Compatibility mode (Windows XPSP3) and even encountered while checking the compatibility suing Standard User Analyzer tool too. I unable to create shim as well.

Please help me on this. Thanks in advance.

Did you try the option Compatibility in the properties for the executable?

I tried the compatibility option as well. Still problem exists.
