SubLocation ATP Check

Former Member

Hi,

We have our SCM check control to consider ''Sublocation'' during ATP check but this is not working at all. ATP check is done at the plant level regardless of the check control.

Any idea why this is happening?

Am I missing anything else?

All receipts are assign to different Storage locations in SCM.

Storage location is also assign to the sales order.

Thanks for your help

David

Hi David,

The ATP check is done on always at plant level ! You can just specify if the ATP check should be done also on storage location and version level or not. The final result is the minimum of all the activated levels.

Check note 547118 Q6.

best regards,

Michael

PS: You might work with MRP areas if you like to have a check just on "storage location level".

Michael,

We have 2 storage locations 1001 and 9999 under location 0110. Sales Orders are entered for storage location 1001 and PO's are entered for storage location 9999.

Can we get sales order to promise on storage location 1001 only? We don't want to Sales Orders to see PO's in 9999.

It wouls be nice to do this without MRP Area.

Thanks for your help.

Hi David,

Please follow instructions from Swetha A. He is completely right.

There is no need to create MRP Areas as long as storage locations is filled in Sales Order.

We are doing ATP check at sublocation level, without problems. There are only two conditions that you must acomplish:

1-. Execute transaction /SAPAPO/ATPC04_05 and check that for the combination of ATP Group and Business event No check on sublocation level is unchecked

2-. in sales order storage location is filled, if not, the ATP check will be done at plant level (excluiding all the storage locations that are assigned to an MRP Area)

Best regards

Pablo

Hello David,

Have you configured the check instruction properly for the sublocation.

Please cross verify the customising setting again as in below link:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm60/helpdata/en/45/b88b46bc6252f7e10000000a1553f7/content.htm

Set the No sublocation check indicator, if the availability check should only be carried out at the location level (and, if necessary, at the version level).

A product availability check is usually carried out at location level. If the requirement includes detailed organization levels (sublocation, version), a check is also carried out at these levels. The fewest number of levels of each check determine the result (confirmed quantity and date).

If you have set this indicator for a check of sales documents, you must also set this indicator again for a check of subsequent documents (delivery). Otherwise, the check could result in inconsistent confirmations.

Set the No version check indicator if the availability check should only be executed at the location level (and at the sublocation level, if necessary).

Hope the information is useful
