Cannot connect to SAP with Business Client

Hi,

Maybe a simple problem, but... I am trying to connect to my ERP-systems (ABAP) with the new Business Client version 3.5. I have activated the nodes in SICF and I am now prompted for username/password from the system, so the connection string should be OK. BUT I cannot still not log in, the username/password-fields are just cleared out when I try to connect. From GUI 720 I can connect without problems.

If I type in an incorrect username/passord the system gives a message saying that the username is incorrect, when I type in my correct username/password the fields are cleared when I try to log in.

In the login-window I see a message saying that HTTPS is not configuret, but will this stop me from logging in?

Any tips on this?

Hi Thor,

Https is not a requirement for using NWBC, but have you configured the connection correctly? The fields should be:

Name: Anything you like

URL: http://<FWDN>:80<instance no>/sap/bc/nwbc

Type: ABAP

Client: default client

Lang

That should be enough.
