POWL fatal exception after upgrading to SRM 7.01

Hello,

We are upgrading SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0 SRM server 7.01 SP5. We are getting POWL error when we want to create a shopping cart. Error in ST22 is CX_POWL_FATAL_EXCEPTION. We have done the necessary changes regarding the roles en the post installation steps (as far as we can see). Can anybody help on this ? Any other things we are going to encounter ? Please share your experience! By the way I read the threads regarding this error but they seem not to be the solution to our problem.

Hi

This is a generalised error message regarding the POWL. Sometime if the use sesion is more also you will get this message

close all the system. raise a shopping cart and send us the error

Problem solved. Debug and make the entry in the appropriate table!

Hi We have the same error can you please let me know the what table entries you have maintained and the dubug results .

SRM7.0  if possible let me know how you debug portal issues ..setp by step procedure

Hello Sri Sri,

This problem will happen if you have entry missing for POWL Application ID.

POWL application is maintained in FPB_MAINATAIN_HIER.

Please check if your entries exist there.

Hi Thanks  We have maintained this and changed the role  . when we click on POWL button we are again getting this error .

Also can you help me in the MDM catalog we want to connect Stapels catalog do I need to dump the data to excell and load or can I connect the staples directly to mdm catalog . How staples data can be made availble in MDM catlaog.

Please run the report POWL_d01 and clear the queries for that particular user and then run the application again.
