Solution Manager

Hi,

We are currently working on 4.7 upgrade. We are planning install Solution manager for monitoring all Dev/QA/Prod systems and also for early watch.

Would like to know the better landscape. I mean, which machine to install Sol.Manager and how to go by. A brief idea would be helpful.
