hi,

If the system is a dual stack then you need to update both ABAP and JAVA stacks.

There needs to be a consistent level of support pack stack.

1561421 Dual-Stack Split (2.0) for Systems Based on SAP NetWeaver

If you want you can split the ABAP and JAVA stack to separate systems using the above note.

Hi Naveen,

Can i just remove my java stack and not use it since we dont use java in our production system? If i remove our java stack, can i still use the EHPI installer for my upgrade?

Thanks.

Hi,

If you are sure, that you do not need the java stack, delete the java stack. Delete the J2EE directory.

Set the parameter rdisp/j2ee_start to 0.

And then use the following additional parameter for executing the STARTUP script:

-srvarg=/DSUService/javadisabled=true

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Sriram
