Hi All

Am new to SAP also NWDS 7.0. i have to debug an application which was created in nwds 7.0 .

My question is how to deploy this application. someone saying use EP portal and some others saying use CE server.what is the difference between this two, also which version should i want to use.

Hi ,

since you are working on NWDS 7.0 ,deploy your application to your NW Portal 7.0 in case if you want to check whether your portal version i.e whetehr it is CE Portal or NW 7.0 Portal do the following things,

open http://<hostname>:<PortNumber>/index.html -> click on all components to check the version of your portal.

but before that you ahve to configure your j2ee server i.r your portal details in NWDS under preferences .

Do you know anything about escalation matrix. I need to trigger an email to higher authority in case if the issues is not resolved particular time.
