Not authorise for DB20

Dear expert/guru,

While executing db20, i get error message ' you are not authorised for "DB20ora"

i double checked, i have this db20 authorisation. but why it's showing DB20ora.

Hello,

Please check

SAP Note#113747, permissions for brtools are set properly

Also you have an up to date version of brtools

Hi John,

There is no connection this eror with Brtools

it's showing u r not authorization

Instead of db20 did you try dbacockpit tx?

Is the error persist, please post your SU53 result.

It's seems that the roles that you have it's missing an auth. Ask for your SYSTEM ADMIN to add the authorization missing to your roles.

hi,

yes, You are right. but my question is I am trying to execute DB20, it shows " you are not authorized for DB20 ora

It should show some message regarding DB20, but why it showing DB20 ORA. I need T-code DB20 not DB20 ORA

Hi,

That's happens cause some TX in SAP call the same programs than other TX or is a "compilate" of a lot of TX, like SUIM.

So, when you don't have acces to one of those TX, the TX that you are calling will not work at 100%. That's why DB20 use some DB20ORA auth.
