Copying Material BOM to WBS/Activity

Hi,

Can we copy Material BOM directly to any Activity in a Project?

When i try to do this i get the option Explode BOM as greyed out for me? Can someone explain why is this greyed out for me?

Yes it is possible to copy Material BOM to an activity. There are certain prerequisites to be met before you do this. You need to maintain reference points in the activity and the BOM items. Tcode CN33 is used to transfer the BOM to an activity.

Hi,

You can following options:

1. Perform BOM transfer - Search in forum or help.sap about this functionality

2. Add BOM header material in project and then perform explode BOM function. This function is greyed out for non-header materials.
