Smart form & show <(>&<)>

Dear all,

I want to ask a question, if the material purchase order long text written & and then if they are shown in smartforms will appear <(> & <)>. How to solve it.??

Hi,

Use REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF '<(>&<)> IN TABLE XXXXX WITH '&'.

Use 'Insert Field' button or Old editor to write fields.

Then it will appear properly,

When you make the long text in the new editor, things like <(>&<)> are inserted automitically and not shown in the editor.

You can change to the old editor and remove these signs.

Hi,

you are writing field name say....&wa_new& in text screen in smartform(that is initial screen),actuall you need to write that one within editor screen of text screen,remove all <(> such things give your field name within &...&.
