Hi Gurus,
I recently installed Solman 7.1 and I configured SAProuter and when I am trying to test for connection and auth in SM59 it is displaying the following error
Connection Error
Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=17 thRc=2
ERROR: SAP gateway connection failed. Is SAP gateway started?
LOCATION: SAP-Server v37sol_SM1_00 on host v37sol (wp 2)
COMPONENT: CPIC
COUNTER: 8

Can anyone help me how to solve this problem

Thanks for the reply, but I tried that command also and it is not working. I deleted old dev_rout file and stopped saprouter and restarted it with the command, but SM59 I am getting this error, but SAProuter is runniing

I am configuring SAProuter for the first tiime, but when I checked for other systems its not working. saprouttab is fine.
when I did saprouter -l I am getting the following
[root@v37sol ~]# su - sm1adm
v37sol:sm1adm 1> cd /usr/sap/saprouter
v37sol:sm1adm 2> pwd
/usr/sap/saprouter
v37sol:sm1adm 3> saprouter -l

Have you verified if SAPRouter is in running status? Pls provide some more details about Router configuration.
is this RFC SAPOSS working for other systems than solMan?

Please check if your SAP Router is up and running with your SOLMAN host added in the rout tab entry of SAP router.
Just to test, check if the SAP oss connection is working from other system or not?

But what I have to check in oss1. I entered all the parameters by going to oss1->parameters->Technical terms. Can you explain in detail what else I have to do. I am new to SAP and these installations
