Test message giving 401 unauthorised

hi

i am trying to test in RWB-> test message and also provided the user/pwd

but i am getting 401 unauthorised.....I already checked PIAPPLUSER/PIAFUSER etc and they are ok

This is because you don't have authorization to post test message. Get the role SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER assigned to the user you are using and then try again. If this doesn't work, add SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN as well.

Actually the message is coming in Moni but not going to the webservice...

I had created that webservice from a function module in ECC...and I had selected " no authentication required" still I am getting that error......???

Still you need service user Id to consume webservice which is hosted on the ECC. Talk to BASIS team and get the user credentials.

To which user id should i assign these roles??.....when PI is calling the webservice we are not specifyig any user in the SOAP receiver channel....

Provide ECC user name and password details in SOAP receiver chenna and try . it should work.

401 unauthorized errror is the login credentials errros. Check in your RFC destination type of h and see the login credentials.
