Hi Experts,
I got an object to Connect ECC to Red Praire via SAP PI.
Need to Extract IDOC from ECC to PI in PIC IDOC nedd to be converted as XML files and have to send it to Red Prairie.
Please help me how to do thios one.
Thanks.
First check with Prairie about the standards/transport protocol it supports. They might support webservice, HTTP, JDBC and so. Your sender interface is going to be idoc. Decide about one of the above standards for the target structure. PI supports all the above standards of communication.

I believe RedPrairie should be able to connect to PI system using HTTP/SOAP channel. Check for format of message required and perform mapping in PI accordingly. If they support HTTP, it will be Idoc to HTTP interface for you.

If you are looking help related to idoc configuration please search sdn for idoc sender. You have to do WE20,21, SM59, scc4 etc.

Hi Sir,
Now we have changed scenario bit,
May be you can help us regarding this.
ECC <-> PI <-> Red Prairie
From ECC Idoc are pushed to PI or another way from ECC IDOC coming to PI.
PI need to convert ( or Generate) this as XML files and using FTP need to put these XML files in Target folder of Target system.
Vice versa.
Please help me regarding this.
Hi,
Suggest you to check how the data can be transmitted to Red Priare ..
what protocols/adapters are supported by red priare for data transfer ...based on that you can design your interface...

If you tagret system expecting IDoc message in IDoc xml format then take XSD of IDoc and use it as a receiver message.
But how you will connect to Red Prairie system?
search in sdn IDoc to File scenario and follow similar approach.

Raj
