Hi,

When we create inspection plan of any material code thru QP01(inspection Characteriscs), we select the samping procedure, and but in inspection characteriscs there is no field for Inspection Severity and AQL Value, how we come to know that the sampling procedure used in QP01 belong to which inspection severity means reduced inspection, normal inspectiton or tightned inpsection. Can somebody help me to understand.

Hi,

While creating the sampling procedure in QDV1, while selecting the sampling type you have to select the "use sampling scheme". The sampling scheme will have the Inspection Severity and AQL Value. You can select the already available sampling scheme in SAP.

Even you can create your own sampling schemes in txn code QDP1

You can use a sampling scheme to determine the sample sizes on the basis of the inspection lot quantity, inspection severity, or combination of inspection severity and AQL (actual quality level).
