Post to Inspection Stock

Dears

In QM view of the material there is a option to tick Post to Inspection Stock

what is the purpose of this, I made a cycle testing by removing this tick mark as well placing the tick mark

i didn't find any difference

Can any body tell the purpose of this

Hi

For the inspectiopn type mentioned, if you remove the tick mark, Inspection lot will be generated but the stock will appear in Unrestricted in MMBE. If you check mark the tick, inspection lot be generated but this time the stock will appear in Quality stock in MMBE

Hi,

If you set this indicator, the quantity of the material will be posted to inspection stock during a goods movement. If the indicator is not set, the material will be posted to unrestricted-use stock. Only the QM department can post the material out of inspection stock. If the QM component is active for the inspection processing functions, inspection lots will also be created.
