Not able to CIF materials from R/3 system to APO

Hi

I am not able to CIF materials from R/3 to APO, Integration model is failing and it is giving me following error,

'' Unkown reference product XXXX for packaging in product YYYY"

Basically looks like for above product YYYY there is reference packaging material XXXX attached in Material master data, Basic data view Tab1 in R/3, During CIF process it is giving error related to this reference packaging material,

Can anyone help on this?

Hello Nitin,

According to me the notes 793080 and 792843(if you are using 4.1 release) should help you.

Thanks for the reply, Let me check for this note,Also do we need to CIF Reference packaging material to APO. I checked that option and found that Reference packaging material can not be Transported to APO as it has only Basic data

Hi Nitin,

Your finding is correct. The note 793080 gives you the solution in the form of user exit of how it can be done. Sample coding is also there in the note. This should solve your issue.
