EM integration with TM

hI,

In the functionality of tracking ID, The client wants to use House bill of lading No as my tracking ID for event handler identification. Can I achieve this by using simple onfiguration and if so how?

If not what is the BADI I need to refer to. My source system is TM 8.1.

Hello,

this can only be done by enhancing the Tracking ID extractor (function module). If you use the standard scenario delivered by SAP you should copy the existing extractor and enhance it.

What is the standard FM/BADI used for standard Tracking ID extractor.

Also is the extractors used are same if my source system is TM 8.1 or ECC as currently my source system is TM 8.1

The name of the function module you can find in transaction /SAPTRX/ASC0AO in the TM system in the AO Type. It is the same for TM 8.0 and TM 8.1.
