EBCDIC characters from MQ Series

Hi,

I am getting the file from MQ Series using the JMS adapter. The payload of the file is in EBCDIC (codepage 500)and is not converted by the JMS adapter. So when I look in the runtime workbench I still see EBCDIC code. Is it a property the mq message or something in the communication channel? Has anyone an idea how this could be done?

thanks

Peter

Hi,

You need to write an adapter module, and use the java APIs to do the conversion. Streams ans Strings have options for converting.

We changed the MQMD.Format into "MQSTR" and

now EBCDIC characters are translated.
