Handheld device out of network.

Hi Experts,

In SAP WM, we are using computer handheld device(No HU management). My question is If device is out of network, how data will be captured.

Hi Maria,

it is not possible, to work with the handheld device without network connectivity.

You have to be "online" connected to SAP, to use RF transactions like LM00, etc.

There are of course solutions, that span the offline time by holding the connection, so you can continue work directly when the device is back online (unlike SAPGUI, where you have to logon again).

If your hand held device is out of network then you need to use LM00 ware house transactions manually.For this you should have profile in LRFMD transaction.

Thanks for the reply. Suppose In case of no connectivity between SAP & Handheld device,

1.can we see the screens in handheld device to do the transaction. If yes where the data will be stored till it come back to network area.

What ever you are processing it will get updated in SAP.If use RF transactions in SAP these are same as your hand held operations,but you are doing same thing in SAP.

The transaction is LM00 where you can see RF transactions and you can not see hand held screens in SAP,But you can do all operations until network restored.
