hi
we are working on TM 8.0 and we want to transport a product "milk" from location A to location B. we have 2 resources: truck 1 & truck 2 (only truck 1 can transport milk).
- we defined incompatibility in which we created a new condition ( condition based on BRF plus decision table)
- we selected on the data access definition "product id of freight unit.."
- in the decision table we put the "MILK" on the product id
--> Our problem is on the Ev.Result, what kind of expression can we put there?
The Product-Condition to be created with Type - /SCMTMS/INC_FU. Add a new decision table line for Product ID 'MILK' (or the id as per material master) and enter an value (any text, say '0') in the Ev.Result field.
Create the Resource-Condition with Type - /SCMTMS/INC_VEHICLE. Add a new decision table line for Resource ID 'Truck 2' (or the id as per material master. Alternatively Means of Transport also can be used) and enter an value (any text, say '0') in the Ev.Result field.
The incompatibility definition to be created for Incompatibility Area "01-Complete VSR (VSR Opt. and Man. Plng and Transp. Proposal)" and Incompatibility Type "Freight Unit - Freight Unit (Vehicle Level)" .
In the incompatibility definition enter Product-Condition in the First Condition section and '0' in the Relevant Condition Result field.
Enter Resource-Condition in the Second Condition section and '0' in the Relevant Condition Result field.
Save the condition. This Incompatibility definition needs to be assigned to an Incompatibility settings with Incompatibility Area as "Complete VSR (VSR Opt. and Man. Plng and Transp. Proposal)".

Did you define the Incompatibility (under Application Administration)? I think you would enter the Incompatibility in the Ev. Result. The condition would define which incompatiblity would apply in your given circumstances. Perhaps you would be better off with a Condition for a different FUBR to apply with a product ID of Milk? Or set it up as the Incompatibilty Settings in your Transportation Cockpit (which would apply a given Incompatibility when planning).

Mike
