Hi Gurus !
I want to know in which conditions should we use PCM. Is if OK to use PCM with a project because i've read that it is not advisable to use PCM becase of System performance issues.
I read that, "If we have activated Project Cash Management, all the payment- relevant data (down payment requests, down payments, invoices, payments) is recorded, even - if it is not assigned to a project, network or order (CO/PP/PM order). This may adversely affect system performance. If you process large numbers of documents, check that Project Cash Management has been activated correctly."
So should we use Funds management or cash budget management? or PCM
Pleae advise.
Thanks
Rabiee
Hi,
Using PCM for your project depends entirely on your business need. I haven't heard anywhere that PCM affects your system performance. Still, to clear any of your doubts i would suggest you to go through the note below,
SAP Note 417511 - Collective note for PS Cash Management
This note should answer most of your queries. Besides, you can also refer SAP Help to understand the cases in which PCM can be used.
