Java Webstart troubles with freshly installed PI 7...

Hi Folks,

We just had a PI 7.3 installation and when I try to open ESR and ID, it is unable to launch the application with below error message -

java.util.zip.ZipException: ZIP file must have at least one entry

I am running JRE 6 on my machine and have tried to configure JAVA control panel in plenty of ways for the network connection, but still same result.

Did anyone faced similar issues or having any idea about it?

It looks problem not with JRE or JAVA web start. some other error. are you post innstalltion done correctly.better to restart system once then check.

are you able to Open ESR/ID at OS level?
