I want the project system has the ability to attach PDF file and excel file under WBS, any configuration we need to do?

Yes you can attach PDF and excel files in a project. In CJ20N select the object where you want to attach the file viz.,WBS, activity. Go to System-Services for Object and create an attachment.

Check this out and revert.

Hi,

You use DMS (Document Management System) in Integration with SAP PS for you requirment.

With DMS you xan lik PDF,JPEG, XLS files to you WBS elements and Activities.

You need to create Document using Tcode CV01N.This is document can be stored in Database Server.

Then this document in link to WBS using Document Overview in CJ20N.

you mean no need to setup SPRO to integrate with DMS and PS?

Hi,

It is required to do configuration for DMS to be used in PS.

Or you can use Services for Object as suggested by Gokul. It does not requires configuration.

But it has limitations.

Using DMS, as suggested by Nitin will give you more flexibility that using Services for Objects as mentioned in my earlier post. If you intend to use DMS there is a need to maintain the required configuration. Whereas in order to use Services for objects there is no need for any configuration.

The Basic settings you have to for DMS are

1. Define Data Carrier

2. Define Document Types

Menu Path SPRO > Cross Application Components > Document Managment
