CUP- Request not picking approvers from BRF+ - 10.0

Former Member

Hi,

We are on SP7 - GRC 10.0

We created the BRF+ conditions with business process and given user id as the Agent condition for approver. MSMP workflow was created with the above agent.

When we create a request it is getting successfully created but not appearing in the workinbox of Approver. We checked the Instant status and there it shows the path and the stage where it is but the Approvers column as blank.

We used the same conditions in SP 5 and no issues were identified. After upgrade to SP7 we are facing the issue.

Is there anything which is missed in settings?

Thanks and Best Regards,

Srihari.K

Hi Sri,

Can you check the Provisioning logs of the Request. This will help you identify the root cause of the issue.

Hi,

I checked the audit logs there it says "zzzz" Role added to the request for action Assign with validity.. post that there are no logs without any workflow and where it was stuck

But when i checked the instance status it gives me Path Status giving the details of the path and the stage it was. The path status is being shown as "RUNNING". But in approvers the same is appearing BLANK.

The provisioning logs are showing "No matching records found"

Thanks and Best Regards,

Hi Nikita & Joshita,

Further to above

We replicated the same scenario in our sandbox environment and it worked fine. But when it comes to Dev system its not working.

I observed the following difference in Agent Decision table from Sandbox & Dev

Sandbox:

Result Data Object

- Return all matches found

- Return an initial value if no match is found

- Return an exception if partial match is found

- Seggregate the result data object into its constituent elements

1) & 4) are checked and Result Data Object : GRFN_MW_T_AGENT [All these were taken by default]

Dev:

- Return all matches found

- Return an initial value if no match is found

- Return an exception if partial match is found

2) is checked and Result Data OBject : Result-Agent Rule

How these differences when both are on same SP 7. Is there any thing wrong in the above setting which needs to be corrected. Where the agent rule is not picking up the approvers ?

Thanks and Best Regards,

Hi Sri,

Could you please redo the following:

In IMG Perform Automatic Workflow Customizing:

T-code SPRO-> Governance Risk and Compliance->General Settings-> Workflow->Perform Automatic Workflow Customizing

Please check that, Maintain Runtime Environment is green.

Afterwards, perform Task-Specific Customizing as per post installation document in following path:

T-code SPRO-> Governance Risk and Compliance->General Settings-> Workflow->Perform Task-Specific Customizing

After this, please activate your BRF+ rule followed by MSMP workflow.

Please also check the user WF-BATCH.

This may solve your issue.

Could you also try that without BRF+ rule, is there any agent problem? This means, could you please test that using normal Function Module based or API rules, are the approver agents functioning?

Thanking you,

Kind regards,

Joshita

Hi,

By any chance did you transport the configuraton from the sandbox to dev? or did you manually replicate the settings over to the different box?

As suggested above, ensure the post-installation steps have been done on the different box and also try re-activating the MSMP workflow again in the Dev box.

All the best.

Hi,

Have you checked the Audit Log of the request?

It looks like there is problem with agents.

Joshita
