Hi Guys,
Im running a SolMan 7.1 SPS 04, and
The objective is adding a SRM double stack system to SLD in order to syncronize with SMSY and be able to upgrade them using system maintenance.
So, far the SLD server is working and the systems were registered in the SLD.
Then running transaction RZ70, the data is uploaded to the SLD without issues, and verified.
Then im trying to download the data from the SLD in order to syncronize and populate the SMSY in the ABAP server.
After running the LANDSCAPE FETCH job it cancel with the message THE SLD Server connection is inactive
By checking SLDCHECK it works ok

When checking the SLDAPICUST transaction it has a standard entry SAP_CONFIG with the SLD server/user and it works fine as shown below.

Connection to SLD works correctly
Any ideas why the LANDSCAPE FETCH job is faling with that message when the SLD server is working fine?
Thanks!
Hello,
Can you please check couple of things in the system:
1. Check if SLD configuration step in SOLMAN_SETUP basic configuration is performed successfully.
Check if it is poiting to correct SLD.
Check the CR Content version of your SLD.
2. If al the above looks good, in SMSY_SETUP, check if the SLD is correct and then schedule the landscape job from SMSY_SETUP.
Update the outcome.
Regards,
Sunny

Hi Guys,
After syncing SLD Supplier Data User in Java Config tool and SLDAPICUST, the LANDSCAPE FETCH job is working now.
I have also updated the CR Version of the LMDB since it was outdated.
Im not sure which of the changes you mentioned also helped to fix that, but all this information was really valuable for troubleshoting
Thanks!

Hi,
check SAP Note 1335225 - LANDSCAPE FETCH job: Termination with SCDT_LIS_IF 011.
Thanks

Hi Venkatesh, thanks for your input.
I have already checked that thread before, and in my case i dont have any error messages when running the Test LCR Connection. Also when i Run SLDAPICUST transaction, it works correctly, without errors.
Anyone else is Using Solution Manager 7.1 and experienced this error?
Thanks!
HI Simois
the LCR RFC is only for PI so it is not the problem
please do this step:
1. Start the Visual Admin
2. Browse the tree in the left pane
<SID> -> Server 0 -> Services -> Security Provider
3. The "Policy Configurations" tab should be selected by default on the right hand side
4. Select the "service.jms.default.authorization" node from the "Components" list (should be the nineth entry from the top down)
5. Select the "Security Roles" tab
6. Select the "clients" node from the security roles list
7. You should see on the right hand side "Security Roles" list in which the "guests" node is marked
8. Switch to edit mode by pressing the change button on top (pencil icon). The "Modify" button should now become active
9. Press the "Modify" button
10.Select the "all" entry from the "Security Roles" list. The "Groups" pane should show one entry named "Everyone"
11. Press the "Save" button
12. Restart the cluster so that JMS and applications using it can reliably reinitialize.
Have you configured your SLD as this:
1. Open Visual Admin->Server0->Service->SLD Data Supplier
2. In the CIM Client generation settings tab have you maintained the following:
a. Host
b. Port
c. User
d. Password.
Check your SLD Data Supplier under Visual Administration. Renter your User-id and password and then save and test the connection.
It should work if the other parameters are fine
Best regards
Naor Shalom
