Underdelivery Tolerance

Hi all,

We revised a sales order from 500 lbs to 1000 lbs. Now I can not create the delivery with 1000 LBS because of this error message "underdelivery tolerance of 10% has been exceeded". Why did this error occur even though I am creating a delivery of 1000 LBS? How can we fix this?

Check the customer master ->sales area data ->shipping tab on how much over delivery/under delivery tolerance are set. If nothing is here, then check the customer material information record in t.code VD52, whether any under/over delivery is set. From these data, the details are copied into sales order ->line item ->shipping tab. To rectify and create delivery, in the sales order, remove or alter the under/over delivery values and then try again.

The customer master has the tolerance settings. The delivery we are trying to make is for 1000 LBS. Since the order qty and the delivery qty is the same, why do we get the tolerance error?

just in case look at your item category running 0VLP - "Check minimum qty". set A or blank there.
