migrate Agreements with references already populated.

Hi

we wish to migrate around100k agreeements into Sourcing from SAP, but want to somehow pre-populate the "reference document" with the SAP ECC number, so if that Agreement is updated in Sourcing it will then replicate those changes back to the SAP ECC backend.

The documents migrated need to be flagged as u2018Mu2019 in EKKO-STATU - Purchasing Document from E-Sourcing. This will then simulate the standard functionality as if the document has been published from E-Sourcing. we also want to update the documents in ECC with the Sourcing reference number.

has anyone come across this before?

writing an ABAP to extract and update the data seems easy enough, however adding the DOCUMENT_LINKS segment to the agreement does not seem so straight forward.

i would welcome any hints/suggestions/recommendations on how to complete this excercise... it does not seem such a far fetched scenario....

we migarted the agreement numbers into a custom field and mapped this field in SAP PI.

when the agreement is published, it will find the ECC document, update with the changes and return the DOCUMENT_LINKS into SAP Sourcing.
