WTF "local workbench request" after "Log data changes" ?

Hello all

I trying to set logging all changes in custom tables. for this i do all actionss which i can see in manuals, set rec/client=all parameter,and now i am trying to set parameter "log data changes" in table technical settings

i set checkbox for this parameter but after saving this changes i see window: "Prompt for local Workbench request".

Can anyone help, what i need to enter in the field "request"?

Hi,

It is the basic thing to know. SAP asks to create a transprot request to each and every change you do for the objects. So you need to clik on new button and create a request for the change you have done. It will then be available for you for auditing purpose and also for moving it to another SAP system (Productio) where manul changes are not allowed if it is needed.

i clicked F4 to see variants for rhis field and use first variant

Hi,

It is asking for the request no.

Suppose if u want to do same in another system in your landscape no need to do by manually u can transport the request accordingly.

For u r senior kindly click on "create button icon",

Give the description which u can recognize later for u r safer side.

Then click on continue button, it will create a new transport request no.
