Register button in a RFX ??

Hi Gurus

we are working on SRM 7,

What is the significance of the 'Register' button in the Rfx for the Vendor , ( bidder can not create response without clicking on register).

for some bids it is coming and for others it is not coming at all ( directly bidder can create response).

Can anyone please clarify where we can control this ? ( in configuration) ?

As per your requirement we don't want this button at all.

please suggest.

Dear Nitin,

The 'register' button should be visible only for RFx document with publication type 'Public'. When a purchaser publishes an RFx document with publication type 'Public', all the online suppliers in the SRM system needs to register for the RFx document before submitting the response against the RFx document.

can we allow the vendors to create response without clicking on the ' register' button ( can create buttion be directly visible for the vendors ??)
