scenario mapping

Dear Expert,

As i am going to implement QM module . As i have one scenarion like below.

Kindly suggecst how to map this scenario.

Scenario III: Once finished materials are produced and are inspected for quality. The samples

for each batch of finished materials are preserved in the quality lab for further reference. Once

the shelf life expiration date is crossed for the finished materials it can be reused to in another

batch while creating finished materials. Before using these samples of finished materials, quality

inspection is carried out and once these finished materials are found to be in the specified

range, they can be reused.

Hi,

You can use Recurring Inspection concept as given in the earlier scenario for this requirement. Prerequisite to this is: Material should be batch managed.

If you want to store the physical samples: pl. use the Physical Sample Drawing (QPV1) to create a Reserve sample and store it for future purposes.

This helps you to create, store and tracking of Physical samples.

As mentioned in the response to previous scenario, you have to indicate Inspection Interval and Shelf life in Material Master.
