Notification when bids have been accepted / rejected / returned

Hi experts,

We are implementing SRM 7.01.

We'd like to send notifications to the bidders when their bids have been accepted, rejected, or returned.

I have done the following customizing:

1. In the customizing "define event schema"

Object Type BUS2202

Event Schema QUOT

maintained the following entries:

event: ACCEPTED, REJECTED, RETURNED

event category: ALERT

event subcategory: SRM_QUOTATION

2. In the customizing "define transaction type"

to Trans. Cat BUS2202, Trans. Type QUOT,

assigned event schema "QUOT".

However, when I accept or reject a bid as a purchaser, no alerts to bidders seem to be triggered.

I have checked transaction ALRTDISP to display alers, but there are no entries with alert category "SRM_QUOTATION",

except for those which were generated by test run with report RSALERTTEST.

I also tried event category NOTIFIC instead of ALERT hoping to get e-mails, but this didn't work either.

I would really appreciate your help.

Have u configured alerts or notifications for bids .Appreciate if u provide any pointers to the alert /notifications Configuration details
