Dear Gurus,
Suppose I look at a web dynpro component which imp interface IF_FPM_UI_BUILDING_BLOCK.
Is there a direct way I can find in which application configurations it is involved ?
Thanks in advance,
Oren.
Thanks !

Hello Oren,
before release 7.02 there is no way to get this information.
As of 7.02 there is a where-use list for configurations - this doesn't help for freestyle UIBBs without configuration, however for generic UIBBs, where the UIBB definition is given by a configuration, this is very helpful.
You can find the where-use list in transaction SE80, by right-clicking the configuration in the repository browser, or via the toolbar after you selected the configuration.
Normally where-used list of the UIBBs configuration will bring you to the floorplan configuration(s) and the floorplan's configuration's where-used list will bring you to the appplication configuration (which is in FPM more or less the application).
This is of course only valid for statically defined usages of UIBBs - there are lots of applications where the UIBBs are added dynamically at runtime - for these there is no way to find their usages.
Best regards,
Christian
