Based on Lot size generate the different inspection lot.

Dear Experts,

New to QM module.

Based on lot size generate the different Inspection lots

Ex:100 to 150 to check 18

150 to 500 to check 55

501 to 1000 to check 100

any possible to create inspection lot qty from automatically Production GR qty.

As per my knowledge it possible like

Create Dynamic Modification rule and assign to Sample Schema

Sample Schema Assign to Sample procedure

Sample procedure assign to Inspection plan.

Anyone explain creation of DMR process?

If it just the sample size you wish to change, you can use a sampling scheme to achieve that. There are plenty of posts here that cover that.

If you want to actually change the tests that are preformed based on the qty you do this by creating and assigning multiple plans. In the header of each, you will find a minimum and maximum qty to be defined for the plan. With those settings, you can set one plan for a qty of 1-100, another for 100-1000, another for 1000-5000, etc etc..

Hi

To make sample size go ahead as what FF as suggested

and DMR is not using for making sample size the purpose of DMR is skipping the lot

For Eg:

there is vendor whom you belive so you don't what to make inspection for all Lot you received,so by using DMR you can skip some lot for eg first lot we will inspect then next 5 lot we will not make any inspection 6 th lot again inspect

to achive above we need to use DMR

step to follow

1.create DMR - QDR1 and assing this in qiality plan header
