Initial Stock Upload Integration with ERP and EWM

Dear Experts,

I am new to EWM. Just have a question on Intital Stock upload.

When I do an initial stock uplaod in ERP in MB1C transaction with Mtype - 561 for a EWM managed Storage Location, what is the process flow ?

How the Inventory data uploaded in ERP is integrated with SAP EWM?

pls suggest.

Hello shetty123s,

It is recommended that you upload the stock data directly in the EWM environment and then the information is transferred into the ERP environment with movement type 561.

Please use the transaction located in Menu Extended Warehouse Management - Interfaces - Data Upload - /SCWM/ISU - Stock Data Transfer.

You should check out the SAP Note 974852 and get the provided .csv file template in order to start uploading stock data.

Getting Error in ECC 'Movement Type 961 does not exist".

Am I missing anything in integration?
