Tendering Email Not Sent

The system does not send the email to the carrier after tendering process. Carrier master data has been maintained with the correct email. Also a contact person has been created and assigned to the carrier in relationship part and contact person's email has been maintained already. Setting in customizing are done for tendering process. Communication settings were maintained to send email for RFQs . When i start tendering from transportation cockpit the system succesfuly starts tendering process and creates RFQ to the relevant carrier but nothing seen in SOST transaction. ( system is configured to send / receive emails). Do you have any idea about this problem ?

Hi,

/SCMTMS/TEND is the enhancement spot for tendering purpose.

/SCMTMS/TEND_SEND_EMAILS is the BADI for sending emails when tendering process is triggered.

This BADI is triggered when the Tendering is created or cancelled. Check whether this BADI gets triggered during the Tendering process.

Hi

Maybe you can give a try by sending a test mail to that email id that is defined for that contact person of the carrier from your SAP Business workplace.Now after this check the transaction SOST whether it appears there or not.
