Round trip Freight Order

Hi

I have a sales order from location A(shipping point) to B(customer), and also a return sales order from B to A. I have created a vehicle, it is an own truck in the customizing and its location is A in the resource master. When I run the optimizer it creates two seperate freight orders. First one is from A to B and second one is from B to A. But I want the system to create one freight document(continues move) which will take the goods from location A(shipping point) to B(customer) and while returning back bring the returns from location B to A with the same truck. How can I plan a ( one ) freight order which also covers return trip.

Hi,

in the optimizer settings (part of planning profile), set the "FO Building Rule" to "New FO when Resource is Empty and Depot Location Reached" and define the depot location in the vehicle master data accordingly.
