BI Java Installation

Hi Experts,

We are planning to Install and configure BI Java, basically existing BW system is NW BI 7.0 EHP2 in HP-UNIX,

Due to some capacity constrains, BI Java is planning to install on Windows server with same version (NW 7.0 with EHP2),

My questions is

Is this right Installation approach? (BI-java with SQL Server in Windows and BW with Oracle Database in HP-UNIX)?

Could you please someone advise?

Raja,

Technically, Yes you should be able to install BI-JAVA In Windows/SQL server and integrate BI ABAP and BI-JAVA.

Integration depends on the components and version of SAP, shouldn't be based on OS and DB.
