SRM central contract

Hi guru,

1. I'm working with SRM 7.0 ehp 1. Could you please explain me the differences between the GOA and the central contact?

2. I want to implement the central contract to determine in automatic way the price and the supplier in the sourcing cockpit, but I don't want to insert in the central contract the information about the target value and target quantity because I don' have these information. These information aren't mandatory, but when the contract is distributed in ECC, during the transfer this contract could go wrong ?

thanks in advance

L.

Hello ,

In SRM 7.0 GOA / Local Contracts are not necessary any

more.

When upgrading a prior SRM release to SRM 7.0, all old

contracts can be converted into central contracts. GOA are

converted into central contracts that are blocked for SRMsourcing;

local contracts become central contracts without

any distribution.

When implementing a new SRM 7.0 an initial upload of

contracts from ERP backends is possible.

SRM 7.0 central contracts distributed to ECC 6.0 EhP3 or

earlier backends will transfer using idocs (will not be done

using SOA). The contracts in the backend are then normal

backend contracts without any new features.

Restrictions of SRM 7.0 central contracts:

No services (being introduced with SRM 7.0 EhP1)

No vendor consignment, subcontracting or third party process

No account assignments

No special conditions like metal price conditions

Thanks & Regards
