LIMS with SAP after SAP upgrade

We are using LIMS (samplemanager 9.2), it is integrated with SAP R/3 4.6C by standard QM-IDI interface. We want to upgrade 4.6C to ECC 6.0 with unicode conversion. How to estimate the effect for this interface? Just need a simple re-configuration, or need adjust most interace configuration/program?

That all depends on what your original implementation team did. If they used the standard SAP interface and used the standard sample manager interface you probably have little to nothing to do. But no one here would have any idea as to what your original team did.
