How to upgrade SAP Java WebAS 7.0 to SAP NetWeaver CE 7.2?

Hello!

We need to upgrade SAP Java WebAS 7.0 to SAP NetWeaver CE 7.2.

Is it possible to do?

If yes how we can do it? I tried to find SAP note but found nothing.

Do you know SAP note or another useful information describes it? If yes give it to me please.

Hi,

It is not possible to update Netweaver Java AS based 7.0x to Netwaver CE 7.x - both use different components as base.

Moreover the Netweaver CE 7.2 section at http://service.sap.com/instguides does not show any update/upgrade paths.

I could however suggest to upgrade to Netweaver 7.3 as it integrates AS Java and CE together and can solve your issue.
