Hi,

From the dev_disp log you posted earlier, looks like few processes could not be killed.

Try to check in task manager if there are no work processes running. I would suggest the server reboot to make sure.

Then try starting the SAP instance, if error persists please post the latest dev_disp and dev_w0 log files.

The problem lies within work proceses level, not dispatcher, please check dev_w* log to determine the error.

Hello,

Run sappfpar check using the instance profile and check if there is any error. If it's AIX then clear the shared memory and strat SAP instance.

Hi Abhilash,

Pls verify various checks to bring up your SAP instance:

-check if OSCALL service is working correctly saposcol

-check if listener and your oracle data base is working correctly. Check result of "R3trans -d"

- you can restart your SAP instance by clearing shared memory allocation with command cleanipc <instance number>

Hi,

Which OS does the system have?

Did you try a complete cleanup of processes and memory?

Post dev_w0 trace file.
