Kernel Version on Java only system.

Dear Experts-

I was comparing two Java only systems today at work. From the system information page I get the version of Kernel is same on both. How ever when I check kernel version in using command disp+work. I see a both have different values on the patch level. Not sure how this is working? but anyone can tell me if I am checking it the right way?

Hi Raj,

I believe you are checking kernel version from portal via :http://<hostname>:portnumber/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

while checking kernel version via OS level, are you looking application server or CI instance host?

It might happen CI and app server have different kernel version becaus of syncronization issue.
