Has anyone else tried pinning the Windows desktop Sap Logon icon (SapGui 7.20 Patch 8 or better), to the Windows Task Bar?
It used to work in WinXP ... not anymore.
Try a simple Drag & Drop of the SAP Logon Icon from the Desktop to the Taskbar (area next to the start button). I find the icon changes to something other than Sap Logon (Sap app launcher). Also clicking it presents an error and doesn't open Sap Logon.
I have customer message: 0000154808 2012 open on the matter.
Thanks,

Hello Bob,
This is what you do.
1) Start SAPLogon as normal.
2) Right-click on the icon and pick 'Pin this program to taskbar'
3) That's it.

Thanks Jude ... Old WinXP habits are hard to break. Your correct method for Win7 works. I am glad you replied since the response I got from my SAP Customer Message was to re-install SAPGui !!
