MDM WD Framework :- Perform User Mapping to connect to Repository

Hi folks,

We have created screens using the MDM WD Framework. Created trusted connection and destinations.

However, currently there is a requirement that there could be users in Portal which don't exist on MDM and hence we would need to perform User Mapping.

I wanted to check if we would need to revert the Trusted connection and and then perform the user mapping, since now even when we try to set user mapping, the application still refers to the userId of the Portal logged in user.

Kindly share your thoughts and insights on this.

i think you need mdm 7.1 sp8, which provides standard support for this feature. you can establish the connection to mdm with dedicated user account.

We considered that option, but due to strict timelines it is not a viable one currently.

Is there any way we can connect to MDM from WD framework in SP07 using user mapping?
