I want an existing WebDynpro desktop application made available on a mobile device. Do i need SAP MI for that ?
Is anything required on the mobile device to see WebDynpro application on it ?
What are the steps to be followed ?

please note that the integration of mobile devices is not supported in Web Dynpro ABAP, it is only available in Web Dynpro Java.

You may run any WD application on mobile device. The only limitation (besides range of devices supported) is that you cannot use certain UI elements / layouts. Check WD help in NetWeaver for list of unsupported controls.

You don't need SAP MI or any other additional component.
WD in NW-Java renders application for mobile WAP/XHTML browsers itself.
